Aligning with Our True North
Moon is in Libra + it's Mercury's day: Showing up 100 percent authentically in relationships; use discriminating intelligence to hone, not hammer the truth.
it's wednesday, november 27, & moon is in libra, in the starspace (pie slice of libra sky) called chitra. libra vibrates with the frequency of relationships—every shape, size & color of them. diplomatic venus, whose north star is harmony, rules libra, & the shadow side of harmony in relationships is abandoning ourselves for the sake of them, being people-pleasers to be liked, being, in essence, fake, not showing up 100 percent authentically. libra time is a good time to recalibrate, rebalance, renegotiate relationships that are out of balance, in which we're letting the other tip the scales.
'i'm not afraid to be disliked for being honest; i'm afraid of being liked for being fake."—samuel bizimana
chitra means "brilliant," "glittering," "bright," "beautiful" & is ruled by tvashtar, the divine architect. this asterism reminds us that we are our most brilliant, beautiful creations, that we are the architects of our own lives. how's that going? are you fully reflecting your blueprint? are you shining as brightly as you can?
it's the twelfth lunar day (tithi), the twelfth phase of the waning moon, which grants us fame, glory, wealth in accordance with what we've prayed for. & we know that prayer is no good without action, that we have to actually do something, right?
wednesday is ruled by intellectually discriminating mercury, whose north star is truth, the true-true, & never wavers from that goal.
not too long ago, katherine maher, the ceo of npr, said, "i think our reverence for the truth might have become a bit of a distraction that is preventing us from finding consensus & getting important things done." she was referring to the media, not the government. the media's job, raison d'être, is to root out & share, report, the truth, to revere it. the rest of us get to do with it what we will.
anyhoo, merc also governs speech & just went retrograde till the middle of december, in scorpio, where our shadow lives. so we have an opportunity to examine whether our truths—about ourselves, the world, others—are really true & to pause before we speak, lest we say something in anger (mars rules scorpio), from hurt or paranoia. an especially poignant point if we're sharing a holiday meal with friends or family, when it might be helpful not to hammer our truths hard, not shun or shame those who may have voted differently from us, but rather find consensus, b/c merc is a friendly dude.
TL;DR
people-pleasing is not the way to go. • you are your most brilliant creation. • pray but act. • ponder how fear & paranoia might be distorting the true-true.
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌒🙏✨
