Be Your Message
Moon is in Libra + it's Mercury's day: We are all projections of one another, so let's not take it personally; spread your word by embodying your word.
it's wednesday, january 22, & moon is in libra, in the starspace (pie slice of libra sky) called swati until early afternoon, then vishakha. libra is the realm of all relationships all the time & how we show up in them, whether, for example, we allow others' projections of us to influence how we show up, whether we take the way others show up or react to us personally. b/c, let's face it, most people don't see us as we truly are; they see us as they are, as a projection of their conditioning, &, yes, of course, we do the same—projections are a two-way street, a two-way fun-house mirror! given the distortion glass we see one another through it's quite amazing that we manage to relate at all, isn't it?! the best we can do is just be ourselves (everyone else is taken!) & cut others slack for being themselves, yes?
swati brings a lesson about focusing our prana, our precious faculties of attention & intention, vishakha one about how as spiritual beings having an embodied existence, it's not one or the other but both/&: the material aspects of life allow us to do our spiritual practices & our spiritual practices inform our material existence, create a container of meaning for it.
it's the ninth lunar day (tithi), the ninth phase of the waning moon, & i gotta say i'm glad the eighth is over—i was feeling so half & half yesterday i didn't know if i was coming or going, the brightness & darkness creating a distortion (!) effect. the ninth tithi supports us in transforming what might feel toxic or negative into wisdom, into positive energy, tipping the scales toward the light even as the moon grows darker. how might you transform unhealthy patterns or situations or emotions by understanding why they showed up in your life in the first place, shine the light of wisdom on them, feel brighter yourself?
wednesday is ruled by mercury, who loves words & spreading his word, his message. thich nhat hanh—poet, activist, author, artist, teacher & dear friend to many—spent his life spreading the message of peace & being the embodiment of that message. "our own life has to be our message," he said. what message are you spreading with your life?
TL;DR
don’t worry about how others see you, just be yourself—everyone else is taken! • focus your prana; find the sweet spot between the material & the spiritual. • shine some light on negative patterns, situations & relationships to extract their lessons. • if you want peace, be peace; if you want love, be love.
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌗🙏✨
