Common Ground
Moon is in Capricorn & Aquarius + it's Mars' day: It's about the soil, stupid! Act, don't react.
it's tuesday, april 22, & moon moves from capricorn this morning into aquarius early afternoon while being supported & transported by the starspace called dhanishtha. what capricorn & aquarius have in common is saturn, who rules both signs. in earthy capricorn, he helps us ground our lives, create solid structures. having done that, in airy aquarius he helps us find common ground with others, expand our concerns beyond ourselves. of course, that's a win-win: caring about & wanting to improve the world around us improves our own lives.
speaking of common ground, the ground, as in earth, as in soil, is what supports all life & it is not doing so well, has not been given the respect it deserves. thanks to rabid monoculture & being force-fed chemical fertilizers, thanks to not being treated as a living, breathing ecosystem, it has become depleted of the nutrients necessary for growing our food, feels like an ultramarathoner after a 200K race. regenerative farming, which not only nurtures the soil but also sequesters those troublemaking carbon molecules, is a solution.
in honor of earth day (which, imo, should be every day), the docu "common ground" (the 411 on soil & regenerative farming) is being released & there's a watch party & live Q & A. starts 10 a.m. PDT. i'll be there. sadhguru will be there. will you?
dhanishtha means "wealthiest" & its symbol is a drum, like shiva's damaru, which is hollow but creates wealth in the form of music through receptivity, from influences beyond itself. this asterism brings a message about the feeling of abundance that arises when we are aligned with the forces of the universe, allow ourselves to be hollow so we can be filled with support. what makes you feel wealthy? how do you resource abundance? i'm not the greatest gardener (understatement!), but i feel rich rich rich when, after tending my green babies for months, i can dine on greens pulled fresh from the earth.
it's the tenth lunar day (tithi), the tenth phase of the waning moon, which supports us in aligning with our dharma, our purpose for being. & when we do, life flows, like music from a drum, life feels abundant. do you feel in the flow or like you're swimming against the tide?
tuesday is ruled by mars, so do drive & travel safely, beware anger & frustration. act, don't react.
TL;DR
secure your foundations, then do something about the world’s. • what makes you feel wealthy in body, mind & soul? • aligning with your dharma, your soul purpose, feels like you’ve got a tail wind. • beware frustration & frustrated drivers.
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌗🙏✨
