Don't Let the Coffee Get Cold
Moon is in Aries + it's Moon's day: Go where you've perhaps feared to tread; ask Spotify to bring on some healing vibes.
it's monday, april 28, & moon is in aries, in the starspace (pie slice of aries sky) called bharani until 10 a.m. MDT, then krittika. aries vibrates with the frequency of boldly going where we've never gone before, where perhaps we've feared to tread. under the sway of this mars-ruled sign, where sun (our vision!) is now feeling his exaltation (i.e., operating with supreme intelligence), we get to charge ahead & are urged onward to be & create anew by the tail wind of the new moon yesterday.
"don't leave anything for later. later, the coffee gets cold. later, you lose interest. later, the day turns into night. later, people grow up. later, people grow old. later, life goes by. later, you regret not doing something ... when you had the chance."—don't let the coffee get cold, by toshikazu kawaguchi
bharani, where the new moon set the stage for our moon work in the waxing cycle, encourages us to let go of the burden we've been carrying—negative tendencies, limiting beliefs, people/situations/thoughts/emotions. what needs to/gets to go so you have room to create something new?
there's a story about two buddhist monks on a journey who come to the banks of a raging river. they encounter a woman there who also needs to get across but is scared. the senior monk picks her up, carries her across & puts her down on the opposite bank. the two monks proceed on their journey, but it's obvious to the senior monk that the junior monk is disturbed by something.
"what's the matter?" senior asks. to which junior responds, "i can't believe you touched a woman—you know that's verboten by our order!"
"wow," says senior, "i put her down ages ago & you're still carrying her?!"
what have you been carrying for ages that it's time to put down?
krittika invites us to offer into the sacrificial (& metaphorical) fire the impurities of our life (see above!).
it's the second lunar day (tithi), the second phase of the waxing moon, which supports us in continuing to manifest our new moon intention, make it more visible & visceral, & resonates well with monday, so have at it!
monday is ruled by the moon, who soothes with healing vibes, like those of love & compassion. all good vibes can do the trick, so why not ask spotify to make you a "dynamic healing" playlist today?
TL;DR
charge full steam ahead to manifest your next best self or project. • drop whatever is holding you back, burn it to ashes. • the second tithi & monday vibe well together—take advantage of that. • speaking of vibes, it’s a good day for healing ones.
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌒🙏✨
