Get Your Groove On
Moon is in Aquarius + it's Jupiter's day: Selfless service is a win for society & ourselves; the concept of god is often invoked for ungodly purposes—let's not do that.
it's thursday, january 30, & moon is in aquarius, in the starspace (pie slice of aquarius sky) called dhanishtha. aquarius vibrates with the frequency of humanitarianism, of being the change we want to see in the world, taking matters into our own hands, rather than, say, relying on governmental (whether municipal, state or federal) agencies, or on NGO's to get 'er done. aquarius is the realm of selfless service, of taking responsibility for the well-being, the happiness, of others. by turning our focus outward, we take the focus off our own problems; by doing what we can to improve the world around us, we improve the world for ourselves as well—this is enlightened self-interest.
"the noblest art is that of making others happy."—p.t. barnum
what can you do today to put a smile on someone's face, to make your world/our world even infinitesimally better? you don't have to join the peace corps, but you can if you want to!
dhanishtha means "wealthiest" & its symbol is a drum. altho there is not consensus on what kind of drum, this asterism reminds us that dancing to our own beat, aligning with the rhythm, the forces, of the universe, brings wealth (material, spiritual, intellectual), a sense of abundance. get your groove on!
it's the second lunar day (tithi), the second phase of the waxing moon, which allows us to take pride in our project so we can confidently help it take root, flourish, expand its reach. how's your new moon intention going? today is a good day to ground it or something else. what do you want to make permanent in your life?
thursday is ruled by jupiter, who gives us the ability to connect to what's highest in ourselves, to source, universal consciousness, the divine, to god & our godly nature. not to be a debbie downer, but:
"the men who dropped the atomic bomb on hiroshima said that god was with them; those who flew from england to destroy germany said that god was their co-pilot; the dictators, the prime ministers, the generals, the presidents, all talk of god, they have immense faith in god. the people who say they believe in god have destroyed half the world, & the world is in complete misery."—krishnamurti
thursday is a good day to ponder our relationship with the divine & how it's expressed in our life.
TL;DR
enlightened self-interest = a win for society, a win for you. • aligning with your own true rhythm creates abundance. • make something permanent. • “god” is often invoked for ungodly purposes—let’s not do that.
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌒🙏✨
