Go Boldly, Go Hopefully
Moon is in Aries + it's Jupiter's day: Have the courage to just try; create your own damned good year by taking action.
it's thursday, december 12, & moon is in aries, in the starspace called bharani. aries is the sign of the entrepreneur, who boldly goes where no one has gone before, who has an idea & runs with it, believes in it, not knowing whether success will happen or not, not having all the deets worked out but trusting that just trying will create momentum, that the solutions will arise in the doing.
"a critical quality to develop in life is the willingness to try," says "atomic habits" author james clear. "you simply must find enough confidence to give it a go. the human mind is fabulous at learning. you will get better at whatever you practice. but before you can develop the skill to succeed, you must find the courage to attempt."
what do you have the courage to attempt today?
bharani is ruled by yama, lord of death, & its symbol is the yoni, the womb. life & death, death & life—for something new to be born, something has to die. accepting the cyclical nature of life, being able to surrender to it, is part of this asterism's lesson. it's a good day to ponder what/who is or isn't working & to let go of attachments to how we'd like things to be so we can be with how things are.
it's the twelfth lunar day (tithi), the twelfth phase of the waxing moon, until 10 a.m. mountain time, then the thirteenth. the twelfth supports us in acquiring spiritual or material wealth, the thirteenth in being more receptive to our inner & outer guru, to learning the lessons we need to learn, which, gotta say, ain't always easy or pleasant.
thursday is ruled by jupiter, who gives us hope, & given that aries is ruled by mars, planet of action, we may feel hopeful by doing.
“action is hope. at the end of each day, when you’ve done your work, you lie there & think, well, i’ll be damned, i did this today. it doesn’t matter how good it is, or how bad—you did it. at the end of the week you’ll have a certain amount of accumulation. at the end of a year, you look back & say, i’ll be damned, it’s been a good year.”—ray bradbury
TL;DR
believe in you—what’s the best that could happen? • creation means letting go of what isn’t working. • be open to learning the lessons you need to learn. • hope is an action word.
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌓🙏✨
