Greener Pastures
Moon is in Taurus, then Gemini + it's Mercury's day: Contentment & curiosity are on the menu as is pondering the advantages & disadvantages of AI.
it's wednesday, april 30, & moon moves from taurus into gemini midafternoon while being supported & transported by the starspace called mrigashira. under the sway of bullish taurus, we just want to chew our cud in peace, are satisfied to stay put, enjoy our bit of pasture, our gaze doesn't ripple much farther outward than our feet. under the sway of gemini, all of a sudden the grass beneath our feet doesn't seem as juicy, our head jerks up & we wonder if the grass isn't greener, juicier on the other side of the fence. the transition from taurus to gemini is one from rest to restlessness, from contentment to curiosity, from the known to the unknown, from being perhaps too stuck, too stubborn, to being flexible & amenable.
while moon is in taurus, "you should," as osho said, "only care about one thing, that you are happy, that you are blissful, that you are silent, that you are at ease with existence." gemini can wait.
mrigashira is, speaking of ruminants & ungulates, speaking of bliss & restlessness, the wandering deer (mriga), ever in search of the next best morsel, of the one that will, once & for all, satisfy craving, desire, the hunger for something else, something more. which seems ever elusive until we stop seeking it in the external world, seeking immediate gratification in fleeting sensory pleasures, but turn our gaze inward to the source of eternal bliss, the morsel that will cease all seeking.
it's the fourth lunar day (tithi), the fourth phase of the waxing moon, which is a "rikta" (empty) tithi, can make us feel unsupported in our material pursuits, so best to, um, focus inward, purify on a spiritual level, use obstacles as stepping stones to do so.
wednesday is ruled by thinky mercury, whose superpower is discriminating intelligence. as AI becomes more & more insinuated into our lives (altho i, dubious & def not an early adapter, have yet to use ChatGPT, my writing accountability partner, who is in her mid-80s, is using it to organize her memoir!), mercury is wondering whether it will ultimately enhance or diminish critical thinking, whether it will free brain cells from low-level thinking so we have more bandwidth for high-level stuff or just make us unable to process complex information, whether it will be empowering or disempowering. thoughts?
TL;DR
experience the ease of existence until midafternoon. • the kind of satisfaction that lasts forever can only be found within. • focus on the spiritual rather than the material. • will discriminating intelligence be up-leveled or down- by computer-think? discuss amongst yourselves!
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌒🙏✨

I have had four people this week talk about using AI when they had never used it before. It’s very fascinating that all of the sudden this week there’s a lot of people in my world that are getting introduced into the world of AI and I think we’re starting to feel the effects of Rahu getting close to Aquarius
