High & Mighty
Moon is in Leo + it's Mercury's day: Step into your power with humility, let your mind swim in the sea of your imagination.
it's wednesday, march 12, & moon is in leo, in the starspace (pie slice of leo sky) called magha. leo vibrates with our kingly-queenly-queengliness, with our sovereignty, our ability to step into our power, own our own agency. leo is opposite aquarius, which represents society, humanity at large, reminding us that we wear a crown not for our own sake but for the sake of others, so we do so in service, with humility.
magha means "mighty" & is ruled by the pitris, our ancestors, & brings a lesson about, well, humility, about remembering that we didn't get where we are by ourselves, that all kinds of people, starting with our parents, nurtured & guided us, paved our way, took things as far as they could & passed the baton to us to take them further. picasso wouldn't have been picasso without vincent van gogh or african masks! it's a great good day to honor those whose shoulders we stand on, those who sacrificed for us, those who didn't get to realize the fullness of their greatness by stepping fully into ours, by standing high & mighty. in this way we can also heal ancestral wounds.
it's the fourteenth lunar day (tithi), the fourteenth phase of the waxing moon, which is presided over by jwalamalini devi, whose name means "garlanded in flames," & is the penultimate phase of the waxing moon, which means we have a full moon tomorrow night. this tithi is also associated with kali, who gives us the courage to toss into the sacrificial fire & burn to ashes, aim a flamethrower at, whatever is veiling our light. what darkness do you get to incinerate?
wednesday is ruled by thinky-talky mercury, who is smack dab in the middle of pisces right now, where his rational skills are, you might say, being challenged or asleep at the wheel. don't fight the current. don't be like a salmon swimming upstream to spawn—you'll just exhaust yourself. rather, let your mind swim in the field of your imagination, think outside the box, allow your right brain to hold sway over your left.
bonus track: the lunar eclipse overnight tomorrow marks the beginning of the end of our tug of war between surrender & control. it also heralds huge cosmic changes to come, starting with the pileup of planets in pisces. buckle your seat belts & prepare to transform!
TL;DR
wear your crown not for your own sake but for the sake of others. • honor those who came before you by being all you can be. • aim a flamethrower at whatever darkness is preventing your light from being bright AF. • think outside the box, give your right brain room to roam. • eclipse alert for tomorrow: prepare to transform!
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌔🙏✨
