Hold Your Horses
Moon is in Pisces, then Aries + it's Moon's day: Mind the gap from one state of being to the next, what Abe Lincoln knows about happiness.
it's monday, february 3, & moon is in pisces, in the starspace called revati until midmorning mountain time, when it moves into aries & the starspace called ashwini. pisces vibrates with the frequency of completion, aries with commencement. pisces is the dreamy, the liminal, the interlude between, you might say, one life & the next, before waking, emerging like a chick from an egg, being reborn with the new day. do note that the move from pisces into aries isn't necessarily smooth sailing. the juncture between pisces & aries, as between all water & fire signs, is a hard stop—there is no starry bridge to gently & safely escort planets from one side to the other; they have to hold their breath & leap. b/c the moon is involved today, we may feel mentally-emotionally unsupported, in limbo, during this time, so do mind the gap, breathe, prepare for a perhaps bumpy landing.
revati is ruled by pushan, the cosmic shepherd, & brings a message about putting on our wellies & picking up our staffs so we can protect the beings in our care & guide them home. as ram dass famously said, we are all just walking each other hOMe, isn't it? ashwini is ruled by the ashwin kumara, twin horse gods. horses represent both our senses & our prana. just as in order for a team of horses to work together, they have to be yoked, have to move in tandem, so we have to control our senses, not let them run amok. which we can do by controlling our prana, our vital life force, which we can do through pranayama, like nadi shodhana, my fave for calming the wild stallions of my mind.
it's the sixth lunar day (tithi), the sixth phase of the waxing moon, which brings victory & happiness (see more below!), supports us in making our dreams come true, solidifying them. it's a good day for dealing with the solidity of anything house or real estate related.
monday is ruled by moon, who just wants to be happy for no reason, wants everyone to be happy. abe lincoln, of all people, reminds us that "people are just as happy as they make their minds up to be." how happy are you? how happy do you want to be? what will it take for you to switch your mind-set & make it so?
TL;DR
the juncture between watery pisces & fiery aries is a sort of danger zone, so be warned that you may feel emotionally/mentally unsupported midmorning mountain time. • play the shepherd & focus your energy. • victory is yours! • happiness is self-generated, or, um, mind-generated.
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌓🙏✨
