Hope or Hopium?
Moon in Sagittarius & Mars' day: Testing & honing your own beliefs, not using lethal force against those who may have different beliefs.
it's tuesday, november 5 (election day here in the US), & moon is in sagittarius, in the starspace (portion of sag) called mula. after scorpio's sturm und drang, sagittarius brings a sense of hope by connecting us to our beliefs & belief systems. democracy is a belief system. according to merriam-webster it is "a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people & exercised by them indirectly through a system of representation & delegated authority in which the people choose their officials & representatives at periodically held free elections." sagittarius is opposite gemini, which gives us the discriminating intelligence to test our beliefs against their real world expression. so it's a good time to ponder whether our democracy is working the way it ought to, whether it is giving us hope or just hopium. do you think elections are free or corrupt? do you think your representatives represent you or, say, special-interest groups? do you feel empowered or disempowered? discuss among yourselves!
mula invites us to uproot ("mula" = "root") beliefs that no longer serve us, to excise negativity & clutter/chaos in whatever form it has taken in our life. what aspect of your life could use some (or a lot of) tidying up?
it's the fourth lunar day (tithi), the fourth phase of the waxing moon, until noon-ish MST, then the fifth. the fourth supports us in leaping over hurdles, the fifth in dreaming our dream into manifestation—just make sure you don't get lost in space when you do.
tuesday is ruled by strategic mars, the general of our army, who reminds us that our vote is not a valentine, but a chess move for the world we want to live in. speaking of generals & armies: mars is in his least-happy place these days, where his ability to think rationally & logically may be way too influenced by his emotions, so he may pull the trigger, push the button in the heat of the moment—mars is, after all, as hotheaded as they come. we can see the national guard already being mobilized "just in case," but you might not know that biden, or whoever is pulling his puppet strings these days, authorized the department of defense in late september to use military force against citizens—a desecration of democracy & our constitution if ever there was one, ... & there are lots these days. so be careful out there!
TL;DR
ponder whether democracy is working the way you think it ought to. • uproot beliefs that aren’t producing the reality you want to live in. • overcome obstacles & dream your dream. • be tactical with your vote (for those in the US) & keep a cool head.
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌜🙏✨
nice post!
