It's a Planetary-Palooza!

Moon is in Aquarius + it's Venus' day: Selfless service doesn't have to mean totally losing ourselves, max out creative & relationship possibilities (& grab your binoculars tonight).

it's friday, february 28, & moon is in aquarius, in the starspace called purvabhadra. aquarius is ruled by saturn, planet of commitment, & is an air sign. air signs (also gemini & libra) are concerned with ideas & sharing them. what ideas are you committed to? aquarius is also the eleventh sign of the natural zodiac, which is about selfless service. it is represented by an empty pot: is the pot empty b/c the contents were just shared with others & we have nothing left for ourselves? aquarius, the sign of the collective, is opposite leo, sign of the king. we get to remember not to totally lose ourselves in service to others, that even too much of a good thing, like humility, isn't necessarily a better thing

purvabhadra, as i mentioned yesterday, is associated with shiva—in the form of aja ekapada, who is a rudra, a fierce vedic form & precursor to the shiva we've come to know & love. if that's TMI, never mind! just know that shiva is the destroyer. he destroys our illusions & ultimately our ego, which doesn't mean our sense of "i'm so great" but our sense of "i am my body." purvabhadra is the lightning flash, the momentary glimpse, of our true nature, which is—spoiler alert!—that we are one with all. on a material level it just might bring a flash of inspiration pure & simple.

it's the first lunar day (tithi), the first phase of the waxing moon. how's the residue of the new moon feeling?

friday is ruled by venus, who is exalted, in pisces—yes, still!—inviting us to go high in terms of creativity & relationships. humans are creative & relationship-oriented by nature. how might you tap into your essential nature & max out those qualities today?

bonus track 1: moon moves into pisces late this afternoon, so it's going to be a pisces kinda weekend—dream big! let your imagination be your guide!

bonus track 2: saturn, mercury, neptune, venus, uranus, jupiter & mars are parading across the night sky for our pleasure (last night & tonight only). do take advantage of this visual feast if you can—grab binoculars or a telescope & pray for clear skies.

humility is a great good thing, but too much doesn’t make it a better thing. • prepare for an “aha!” moment today. • moon is still too dark to see even a glimmer, so we may not be quite ready to manifest our new moon intention—keep feeling into it. • make art, celebrate your people.
