Live Your Truth & Practice Radical Kindness
Moon is in Sagittarius + it's Moon's day: Zoom out to get some perspective on your life; embrace your inner Mr. Rogers.
it's monday, december 2, & moon is in sagittarius, in the starspace (pie slice of sagittarius sky) called mula. sagittarius vibrates with the frequency of hope & optimism, which come from being able to zoom out & see the big picture. i was talking to one of my best friends last night, who is eternally optimistic. which doesn't mean that she, like all of us, hasn't faced plenty of challenges. it doesn't mean she sees life only through rose-colored glasses, that she's a pollyanna. it means that she is able to take what life throws at her in stride—she knows that if she survived one fraught event, she can & will survive another. it's a good day to zoom out & get some perspective.
mula means "root" & is ruled by niritti, the goddess of chaos, who gives us the power to get to the root of our negative tendencies & limiting beliefs so we can uproot them. unlike other asterisms, mula isn't defined by stars but by the black hole that sits at the galactic center out of which the whole universe was born. we are invited to dive into our own black holeness, to the core of our truth & ask whether we are living our truth, whether our beliefs & practices are creating chaos or alignment, & to yank out by the roots what doesn't serve us, which entails the willingness to change, evolve.
"what if i told you [that] ten years from now your life would be exactly the same? doubt you'd be happy. so, why are you afraid of change?"—behavioral-change expert karen salmansohn
it's the second lunar day (tithi), the second phase of the waxing moon, which supports us in growing the flame of our new moon inspiration, grounding it in reality, by giving us the confidence to do so.
monday is ruled by moon, who practices radical kindness, like mr. rogers, who said, "there are three ways to ultimate success: the first way is to be kind. the second way is to be kind. the third way is to be kind.” he also said, “imagine what our neighborhoods would be like if each of us offered, as a matter of course, just one kind word to another person.” &, i might add, imagine what the world would be like if all the neighborhoods that comprise it were infused with radical kindness!
TL;DR
being optimistic does not mean being a pollyanna. • unchaos your inner & outer life. • have the confidence to keep building your dream. • kindness makes the world go round.
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌒🙏✨
