Mind Map? Heart Map? Both/&!
Moon is in Cancer + it's Mercury's day: Let compassion be what connects you with others, your brain what connects the dots of your project.
it's wednesday, january 15, & moon is in cancer, in the starspace (pie slice of cancer sky) called ashlesha (& it is zero degrees here in the mountains as i write). cancer vibrates with the frequency of the divine feminine, which is all heart all the time. moon-ruled cancer is where our organ of love & compassion is the means of knowing & the vehicle for connection, offering balance to the previous sign, mercury-ruled gemini, where we connect with our head, our intelligence, our mental faculties of discrimination. while it's not one or the other but both/&, we have another day to work our heart muscle, tip the scales in the direction of love. & don't forget about being loving & compassionate to you in the process.
ashlesha calls in serpent energy, invites us to look at our attachments, at what we are wrapping ourselves around as hard as a boa constrictor, perhaps but not necessarily squeezing the life out of. in hindu mythology serpents represent both poison/venom/toxicity & wisdom, reminding us that it is only by acknowledging & dealing with the poisons in our life (emotions, thoughts, people, situations like jobs, etc.) that we can extract wisdom from them by asking why they are here, & extracting wisdom is the key to growth, to soul evolution, is the point of our lives. at least IMO. yuval harari thinks there is no point to human existence:
”any meaning that people ascribe to their lives is just a delusion.”—yuval harari
discuss among yourselves!
it's the second lunar day (tithi), the second phase of the waning moon, which has the quality of "manada," pride, supporting us in growing our intention, which might even look like a mind map (!), its tentacles reaching far & wide, spreading in all directions.
wednesday is ruled by mercury, who loves to connect people, places & ideas. sometimes he uses words. sometimes he uses trains & planes & automobiles. sometimes he just uses his mind, creating new synapses, pathways of connectivity in his brain. if you are struggling to connect all the dots of a project, to pull all your thoughts together into one cohesive whole, try making a mind map. if nothing else, it's fun, & merc is a fun guy! get out your markers or colored pencils (i'm old school, but of course you can do it on your computer with or without canva—mercury loves technology).
TL;DR
unconditional love includes unconditionally loving you! • ask yourself whether your attachments (to people, ideas, emotions, situations) are healthy or not. • take pride in your intention & let it grow. • if you haven’t done a mind map, give it a try—just for the fun of it.
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌖🙏✨
