Off with Our Heads?!
New Moon + Partial Solar Eclipse in Pisces/Uttarabhadra: Time to give our ego a good death & celebrate it, dance on its grave.
it's friday, march 28, & moon is in pisces, in the starspace (pie slice of pisces sky) called purvabhadra until midmorning MDT, then uttarabhadra, where we'll have the new moon + partial solar eclipse overnight, a few hours before dawn.
as the twelfth house of the natural zodiac, pisces represents our final liberation, which doesn't necessarily mean death-death, but the death of our ego, the dictatorship of our mind. pisces invites us to surrender into all that is, not control & cling.
venus & mercury (both retrograde) are hanging out with sun, moon & rahu (the north node & instigator of the eclipse) in pisces, creating quite a planetary traffic jam, a confusion & complexity of energy (not to mention saturn moving into pisces tomorrow), so we are feeling that invitation hard in the area of life pisces represents for each of us.
eclipses bring what's hidden into the open so we can heal. if you have any planets or sensitive points within a degree or two of the eclipse point (14°47' pisces), you will be most affected—expect a surprise. this is a portal that remains open for the next month.
both purvabhadra (saturn, rahu) & uttarabhadra (venus, mercury, sun, moon) are ruled by rudras, fierce aspects of shiva associated with time, transformation, death & quick spiritual progress. they are symbolized by the back & front legs of a funeral cot, respectively: think cremation grounds!
in the D20 chart, which represents spiritual progress, rahu & ketu (the south node) are associated with chinnamasta (pictured), one of the divine mothers who guide us to let go of the past & purify. chinnamasta's famous beheading of herself (!) symbolizes the death of the ego, the thinking, all-controlling mind.
"the goal of spiritual practice is mind expansion—or cosmic consciousness—where your sense of self becomes so large that it incorporates all of existence, dissolving boundaries between self & other. deep in our hearts we all basically want the same thing."—sharon gannon
there is no rebirth without death, which is the ultimate surrender. what needs to, gets to, die in you? how much do you want to evolve? with venus & mercury retrograde, we get to look within, trust our inner knowing for the answers. & don't forget that ashes fertilize fields for new growth!
sending blessings for transformation to all!

TL;DR
intensity of pisces is real & whatever area of life pisces represents for you is where you will be feeling it. • eclipses bring what’s hidden into the light of day: something unresolved in your past may come out to bite so you can heal it once & for all. • what needs to die so something new can be born? • trust your inner knowing.
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌑🙏✨
