Rabbit Holes, Anyone?
Ray Bradbury, Jeff Bezos, Lee Fang, Kalie, Alice & another day of Virgo energy!
it's wednesday, october 30, & moon is in virgo—yes, still!—in the starspace called hasta until midmorning, then chitra. so we have one more day to look around & see where in our lives we get to make reparations, to make yet another to-do list & check everything on it off, which is virgo's happy.
both hasta (see yesterday's post for more) & chitra are connected to creativity & to spirit's (the divine's, god's) role in it. under the sway of chitra that creativity takes the form of what is useful & beautiful. ultimately the most useful & beautiful object we can manifest is our most authentic selves, & we do so by feeling into & trusting our vision.
"the intellect is a great danger to creativity ... b/c you begin to rationalize & make up reasons for things, instead of staying with your basic truth—who you are, what you are, what you want to be. i've had a sign over my typewriter for over 25 years now, which reads 'don't think!' you must never think at the typewriter—you must feel. your intellect is always buried in that feeling anyway."—ray bradbury
it's the fourteenth lunar day (tithi), the fourteenth phase of the waning moon, which means we have a new moon on the horizon & our light, like the moon's, is diminishing to nothingness as well. this final release of energy, this letting go, is why this tithi is considered the most intense—letting go ain't for the fainthearted!—& why it's connected to the fierce goddess kali. how can you channel your inner kali to release what no longer serves you?
wednesday is ruled by thinky mercury, who loves words. like "astroturfing," in which people-for-hire show up at protests, town halls, congressional & gubernatorial offices, etc. to rant from scripts like actors. seriously? yes, seriously, it's a thing! i'll let journalist-hired-by-himself lee fang give you the lowdown on astroturfing if you're interested. meanwhile we've all got to work our mercurial powers of discriminating intelligence super hard thanks to that new wrinkle in our info-gathering abilities, in addition to the fact, pointed out by jeff bezos, who owns "the washington post," that we've lost our trust in the mainstream media (hmmm, wonder why?!), that it's become a dinosaur. if you feel like alice gone down the rabbit hole, you're not alone!
& that’s your daily bliss! which is a sort of lunar weather report. may it allow you to align with the day’s cosmic energy so you can find & create a little more bliss.
TL;DR
work your to-do list! • know that you are your most magnificent creation. • fiercely release what doesn’t serve you. • verify, verify, verify when it comes to the media.
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌒🙏✨
nice! & Happy Diwali!!
