That Million-Dollar Feeling
Moon is in Aquarius + it's Mercury's day: Be the change you want to see in the world & investigate everything.
it's wednesday, march 26, & moon is in aquarius, in the starspace called dhanishtha. aquarius vibrates with the frequency of our humanitarianism, of caring deeply about the world around us—whether our neighborhood, town, state, country or beyond—& wanting to do something to improve it, to, as gandhi famously said, be the change we want to see in the world. yes, being the change def involves selflessness, but/& the secret is that what's good for the world is good for us, we reap the benefits as well. it's called enlightened self-interest.
"only if we understand, will we care. only if we care, will we help. only if we help shall all be saved."—jane goodall
dhanishtha means "wealthiest" & is also known as shravishtha, which means "most heard of," as in "famous." this asterism brings a lesson about what makes us feel wealthy, how we experience abundance. it is symbolized by either a drum or a flute, both hollow instruments, reminding us that so are we, that we are channels for the divine. also that we each have our own tune, rhythm, beat. & note the connection to the previous nakshatra, shravana, where we get downloads about our true nature, channel messages from the divine. dancing to our own drummer, fully expressing the uniqueness of who we are is the path to true abundance, to feeling like a million dollars, no?
it's the twelfth lunar day (tithi), the twelfth phase of the waning moon, which, just as today's asterism connects us with yesterday's, brings answers to what we prayed for yesterday, results from our meditation, from our spiritual efforts. &, like dhanishtha, it is wealth-, fame-, glory-glving, again depending on how we define wealth—material, spiritual, intellectual juiciness? it is also considered the most conflict-free tithi—yay!
wednesday is ruled by mercury, whose mantra is "investigate everything," including, say, the names of businesses & government entities to make sure they are who they say they are. for example, thanks to mercury's undercover work we know that contrary to its name, the united states institute of peace (usip) is hardly that—unless you think war is the cause of peace—as it is run by warmongers galore. with mercury retrograde now, what might you research & review?
“think before you speak. read before you think.”—fran lebowitz
TL;DR
doing good in the world is also good for us. • true wealth comes from alignment with the truth of who we are. • yesterday’s efforts bear fruit today. • research, review, revise, then speak if you must.
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌘🙏✨
