The Butterfly Effect
Moon is in Aquarius + it's Jupiter's day: A random act of kindness ripples far beyond us; zoom out & get some perspective.
it's thursday, march 27, & moon is in aquarius, in the starspace (pie slice of aquarius sky) called shatabhishak until early afternoon MDT, then purvabhadra. aquarius creates an environment in which we feel the interconnectivity of life on this planet, of being an integral part of its vast ecosystem. it's where we grok that just as the vibration of a butterfly's wing beat in the amazon ripples out out out & causes a hurricane tens of thousands of miles away, so our actions, even those as minute as the flutter of a butterfly's wing, have effects far beyond what we can see. a butterfly can't consciously choose its actions, but we can. who knows how far a random act of kindness, a smile at a stranger may travel.
shatabhishak brings a lesson about thinking outside the box when it comes to healing, being willing to explore any & all modalities, conventional & not, & to heal all the layers of us—physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual. purvabhadra brings a lesson about being ready to not only receive insights from the universe but also being able to run with them. unless we are ready in body, mind & soul, unless we have been doing our healing work, have been doing our practices, we won't be resourced enough to receive or make use of divine downloads, of the "aha!" moments.
"the process of yoga is really working when, all of a sudden"—aha!—"one starts to see infinity."—richard freeman
have you been doing your healing work, your practices? is a spring detox in order? check out jeanie manchester's, which starts sunday.
it's the thirteenth lunar day (tithi), the thirteenth phase of the waning moon, until late morning, then the fourteenth. the thirteenth is connected to kamadeva, the hindu cupid, & has a quality of "priti" (pleasure, joy, love). its planetary ruler is, like thursday's (& purvabhadra's), jupiter, increasing our ability to receive divine downloads. the fourteenth is connected to kali & has a quality of "angada" (self-sacrifice). as it is the penultimate tithi before the new moon, we get to ask ourselves what it's time to sacrifice, release, so we can manifest anew.
thursday is ruled by jupiter, whose sanskrit name is "guru," the one who gives us the wisdom to see the big picture, not sweat the small stuff. it's a good day to zoom out, get some perspective.
TL;DR
we play an integral role in the ecosystem that is earth. • doing our healing work, doing our practices, prepares us for “aha!” moments. • downloads about what needs to go in prep for the new moon coming at you! • see the big picture, don’t sweat the small stuff.
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌘🙏✨
