The Power of Emotional Vulnerability & Critical Thinking
Moon is in Scorpio + it's Mercury's day: The hard stuff is what keeps life interesting; first principles is the epitome of rational reasoning.
it's wednesday, march 19, & moon is in scorpio, in the starspace called vishakha for another hour, then anuradha. scorpio vibrates with the frequency of our doubts & fears, paranoia even, which can surface after we've shared ourselves fully & openly in relationshipy libra, allowed ourselves to be seen. "uh-oh," we might think, "did i overshare, reveal my authentic self to a fault? does so & so still like me?" safety & security are easy-peasy, the opposites not so much. but dealing with the hard stuff is how we grow & scorpio's ruler, mars, gives us the courage to do so.
"life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, & loudly proclaiming 'wow! what a ride!"—hunter s. thompson
i'm not advocating trashing your body, but do try to IN-joy your journey!
anuradha (see yesterday's post for vishakha) brings a lesson about loyalty, about what & whom we are devoted to & how, when we dedicate ourselves to something, we do it wholeheartedly, with unwavering commitment. who & what are you devoted to? are you in halfway, a quarter of the way, or all the way?
it's the fifth lunar day (tithi), the fifth phase of the waning moon, until early afternoon, then the sixth. the fifth tithi is associated with lakshmi, who once she set her eyes on vishnu knew he was the one for her. period. end of story. are you as sure of your goal? the sixth gives us the confidence to realize our goal, bring our dream to life, put a garland around vishnu's neck & claim him, make him our life partner. what's your vishnu?
wednesday is ruled by rational, logical mercury, whose reasoning is guided by first principles, which means applying the same critical thinking paradigm to an issue across the board, regardless of, say, how it affects you personally. for example—& not to get too political or america-centric, but, hey, it is what it is—if (for starters!) you campaign as a free speech warrior, especially b/c you've been censored, you are being irrational & totally out of integrity if you then try to shut down the voices of anyone who expresses views in opposition to yours or your administration's agenda. period. end of story.
TL;DR
mars gives us the courage to face our fears & doubts. • whom/what are you devoted to & are you all, or partly, in? • if you are sure of your dream, you can make it reality. • do you know whether you are a free speech absolutist or relativist?
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌖🙏✨
