The Seventh Generation Principle
Moon is in Aquarius + it's Mercury's day + New Moon on Sunday: Ponder how your actions ripple outward; go high, rather than low, when sharing your thoughts; unburden thyself!
it's wednesday, april 23, & moon is in aquarius, in the starspace (pie slice of aquarius sky) called shatabhishak. aquarius vibrates with the frequency of humanity as one giant organism, all of us connected like aspen trees are by their roots. thus, we are invited to consider how our (thoughts, words &) actions ripple outward & to act in ways that are beneficial for the entire organism. if everyone did, no one would be plundering & raping the earth, spewing toxic chemicals into the air & water, thinking only of money-money-money. many indigenous cultures hew to a philosophy of making decisions that benefit not only the current generation but seven generations on. what decisions might we make if we considered true sustainability & the long-term well-being of all earth beings?
shatabhishak means "100 doctors/healers/medicines" & gives us the power to heal, to think outside the box, try myriad modalities (hopefully not 100!), to find a cure for what ails us, especially physically & psychologically. it helps us overcome bad karmas ... if we take responsibility for them. it's a good day—duh!—to get a massage, a reiki treatment, see your therapist.
it's the eleventh lunar day (tithi), the eleventh phase of the waning moon, which is said to be the best tithi for spiritual practices like fasting & meditation b/c our mind is the least bizzy & buzzy, the least distracting & distractable. this tithi also resonates well with shatabhishak, so do get your fasting or meditation on today, do some spiritual healing!
wednesday is ruled by thinky-talky mercury, who is still in pisces, where he may be going low rather than high, being judgy & overcritical, so let's do mind that when we share our thoughts.
bonus track: i'm traveling without my computer for the next coupla days & wanna give you a heads-up about the new moon, in aries, in bharani, on sunday. bharani is derived from the sanskrit verb bhṛ, which means "to bear," & its symbol is the yoni, the female reproductive organ. it is ruled by yama, god of death & transmigration. each death leads to rebirth. with each death, the soul sheds its body as we do our clothes every day. ask yourself: what burden am i carrying that's wasting my energy, sucking my life force? who would i be without judgments & criticisms? what do i fear losing? what might i gain if i lost my fear? what might be possible?
TL;DR
make decisions that are truly sustaining for the future of all life. • heal what ails physically or psychologically. • heal what ails spiritually. • lose judging & criticizing. • prepare for the new moon on sunday (see bonus track).
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌗🙏✨
