The Sweet Smell of Victory
Moon is in Sagittarius, then Capricorn + it's Moon's day: Dreaming is one thing, building your dream another; "imagine all the people living life in peace."
it's monday, february 24, & moon moves from sagittarius into capricorn around noon mountain time while being supported & transported by the starspace called uttarashadha. the transition from sag into cap is one from inspiration into practicality. we had a sag kinda weekend. were you somehow lit up? did you perhaps declutter mentally or physically or emotionally so you'd have room to manifest something new? did you, say, even start planting your spring garden, put seeds in the ground or into grow pots in a sunny spot in your house? capricorn gives us the discipline & perseverance to make the unreal, the amorphous, real, solid, tangible, to take our dreams out of the sleeping realm into the waking realm. we can use the morning to clarify, the afternoon to start actualizing.
uttarashadha means latter victory, as in, speaking of seeds & gardens, first we plant them, then we water them; first we have the idea, we recognize a seed within us dying to see the light of day, & then we water & otherwise nourish it into existence.
what shape waits
in the seed of you
to grow & spread
its branches
against a future sky?
is it waiting
in the fertile sea?
in the trees
beyond the house?
in the life
you can imagine
for yourself?

it's the twelfth lunar day (tithi), the twelfth phase of the waning moon, which is presided over by vijaya devi, the one who brings victory ("jaya" = victory, "vi" = definitely/bring it), answers our prayers. yes, more victory today! what have you been praying for? have you been taking action, doing your work, while you've been praying, or have you just been waiting, hanging out at the gate scrolling instagram, reading, talking to other passengers until your flight is called? no judgment, just noticing, just awareness. b/c we know that prayer without action is meaningless, right?
monday is ruled by moon, who wants to feel peace & wants everyone else to as well; in fact moon can't be at peace until everyone is, b/c moon's dharma is to be the peace-maker/-bringer. the twelfth tithi, which resonates well with mondays, is also a peace-bringer, in combo with monday produces what's called amrita yoga. "amrita" = nectar, success (i.e., victory). sweet!
TL;DR
ground your inspiration in reality, make the ephemeral tangible. • speaking of ground: keep watering & nourishing that thing within you that’s dying to thrive. • prayers + action = victory. • take a page from john lennon to “imagine all the people living life in peace,” but/& do something to make it so.
& that’s your daily bliss! IN-joy! 🌘🙏✨
