ps. bhiṣaj is always medicine/healing/physician. viṣam can be medicine and poison, like pharmakaio (greek), bhiṣaj is just healing. very cool about the significance of the 12th tithi!
thanks, as always, for reading! & thanks for your comment re "bhiṣaj." i was taught that śatabhiṣaj could be broken down as either "śata" + "bhiṣaj" or "śat" "abhiṣaj," so either 100 doctors/medicines or 100 not-medicines, i.e., poisons, like the way homeopathy works, taking a bit of poison to create the cure. is that incorrect?! i mean, "śatam" is the nominal neuter form, so it wouldn't, even tho it does, go into compound with an "a" ending; i thought "śat" was an alternative ... ?🙏🙏🙏
